University of Oxford in United Kingdom

AUT is a university that champions people with game-changing ideas and academic prowess. With over 50 world-class research institutes and centres, and based in one of the world’s most liveable cities, it’s easy to see why AUT has become New Zealand’s second biggest and fastest growing university in just 15 years. We are the university for our changing world because we understand that globalisation and rapid developments in technology are driving continual evolution of industries and jobs. We are ready to adapt our teaching practice and our programmes to ensure we are delivering the right skills, theory and practical experience for our students. It is one of the reasons why 86% of AUT graduates are in full-time employment within eight months of leaving university. Research that matters is a strong focus for us, and across our 15 schools we have more than 650 researchers, including 150 professors. Major research centres at AUT span biomedical devices and technologies, public health and rehabilitation, linguistics, computing and information technology, tourism, ecology, and public policy. Our research partnerships take many forms, from co-developing a Design for Health and Wellbeing Lab at Auckland City Hospital driving improvements in staff and patient experiences, bioengineering research from our Centre for KODE Technology Innovation, to joint research projects to support sustainable growth in New Zealand’s aquaculture industry. Our specialist facilities include a high performance sports centre, a radio astronomy observatory, diagnostics laboratory, advanced additive manufacturing centre with state-of-the-art 3D printing, a range of high-tech labs including motion-capture and textile design labs.
